A HISTORIC SETTING...
​Travel through New England and you will notice that historic buildings have been demolished and replaced by the same building being constructed over and over again with the same bland, cookie cutter apartments.  At Foster’s Place it was our goal to not only save and preserve this historic landmark, but transform it with unique residences and layouts that honor the building’s rich history. 

Many of our residences combine the original exposed brickwork from the 1900’s with the modern conveniences one comes to expect in brand new apartments.

The transformation of the Foster’s building into a mixed-use development was the vision of a team of life long Dover residents.  Concerned with the recent demolition of several historic buildings in the downtown area, the group was determined to preserve and restore this historic downtown landmark. 

Guided by the principal that the best way to honor their city’s identity and history was to preserve that which has stood for over 100 years, their mission was to revitalize the community by reutilizing a historic property!
